ABOUT
Madison-Rockingham Rescue Squad, Inc. is a combination paid/volunteer non-profit agency. The squad has been serving Rockingham County since 1957. The squad provides medical first responder, heavy rescue, and BLS transport services. A majority of up keep and call response is done by volunteers who are not being paid. Giving their time to help the community in the most professional way possible. This requires extensive training for all types and topics of incidents.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT
The Madison-Rockingham Rescue Squad, Inc. shall be operated as a non-profit
organization to provide the highest level of rescue, recovery, and pre-hospital emergency
medical care possible by its individual members to any persons in need of such care. We
will provide trained and properly certified responders to answer both emergency and non-
emergency situations, provide public service and awareness to the community at large,
and cooperate with other emergency response organizations to increase the overall
effectiveness of the emergency response system, both in Rockingham County and across
the State of North Carolina.
